CLOSING OUT A VERY DISHEVELLED YEAR…
(…so we’re forgetting about Margaritatville…and heading for Cognac City instead)

We’re closing out 2015 with this issue. It’s been a very disheveled year with a lot of unhappy events both here and abroad, so we’re forgetting about Margaritaville…and heading for Cognac City instead. Under the circumstances, that’s about the best we can hope for to find peace on Earth…and good will for all.

Nevertheless, just to add a little cheer and lift up our spirits in spite of all that, we’re adding a somewhat tongue-in-cheek short story here called –The Emperor Who Found Christmas – as the origin of our Christmas traditions. We’re not suggesting by it that that’s how it all really began; but then again, who’s to say it couldn’t have?

In any event we hope it will provide everyone with a few merry giggles, or even a wild guffaw or two, just to liven up our holiday season. We’ve arranged it as a slide show which will let you turn the pages and view it at your leisure. Enjoy!

And as our parting comment for the year and guiding thought for the coming New Year, we say:

BE SOMEONE WHO BRINGS THEIR OWN SUNSHINE…WE’RE SURROUNDED BY TOO MANY DOOM AND GLOOM FOLKS ALREADY..
